Keepers of the Runes
The Gringles have always been the Stone Keepers of Gossamer Forest. Content and happy in their duties of ensuring the harmony of rock and stone in the forest, their appointment as Keepers of the Runes was a joyous inevitability. The Gringles bloodline is traced as far back as the first known Elves here in Gossamer Forest. Unlike their cousins, however, the Gringles enjoyed the toil and work that was a part of caring for the colored stones of the River Xendle ‘De. This river ensured the water line that irrigated the whole of the forest and it's stones and rocks provided the magic of Tranquility. In time, the High Mother herself, Eventine Everwood, appointed the Gringles, so noted for their care and devotion, as the Keepers of the Runes. The Runes signify our love and devotion, not only to the forest, but also amongst all Faerie-kind. They serve as written Tablets so that all may see and read the devotion of love that is shared throughout Gossamer Forest. The Gringles are the Rune Keepers, and as such, will keep safe the Runes and will guard each with the love and care that is found in each heart of each Gringle
